About MeArt was always encouraged from a young age – but I only considered it a side hobby for most of my adult life. It would make brief appearances here and there when I wasn’t busy with "more important things," like when I was sidelined after tearing my ACL I took a painting class at City College of San Francisco. Most recently, it was the pandemic. But this time, it was different and it was here to stay.
Today, I find great enjoy and expression delving into the loose qualities of watercolor and other water-based media. I am moved by nature and how it can provoke both breathtaking beauty and raw fear at the same time, due to weather or, more often, my own mind. My art is inspired by my favorite places for escape and adventure and the places I hope to see one day. I am based in Walnut Creek, CA with my family where we get to access the golden hills of Mt. Diablo at a moment's notice or our beloved Sierra Nevada with a little more planning. Recent work can be found on Instagram. Shows"Yosemite Renaissance 38" - Honorable Mention awarded
